Handmade Ceramic Bowl: Pacific Northwest Studio Pottery | Aetherium × Archibald
Bring warmth and quiet intention to your table with this handmade ceramic bowl, created in collaboration with Seattle ceramic artist Annie Archibald. Wheel-thrown and finished by hand, the bowl features a layered red glaze that breaks and pools naturally in the kiln over carved botanical relief.
The surface evokes leaves, seasonal growth, and natural forms, with warm reds and ochre tones creating depth and movement across the rounded form. The carving is integrated into the clay itself, allowing the glaze to accent texture rather than mask it. Designed for everyday ritual rather than display, this bowl favors presence and use, inviting slower meals and more intentional moments at the table.
Comfortable in the hand and grounded in proportion, the bowl is well-suited for salads, grains, shared dishes, or ice cream. Subtle variations in glaze flow, color, and surface are part of the character of studio pottery and reflect the individual nature of the piece.
