Christian founded Aetherium around a practical conviction: advanced tools, useful knowledge, and professional capability should be easier for independent makers and small workshops to reach.

Before Aetherium, Christian spent more than sixteen years in professional kitchens and hospitality operations, eventually moving into executive leadership.
That work demanded more than technique. Quality, cost, workflow, equipment, training, logistics, and reliability had to function together, often under pressure. It taught him to see every product as one part of a larger operating system.
The same perspective now guides Aetherium: understand the person using the tool, the process around it, the knowledge it requires, and the barrier that keeps it from working as well as it should.
What carried forward
Operating discipline became a founder advantage.
Christian's culinary background is not a footnote to Aetherium. It is where he learned to combine exacting craft with repeatable systems, manage limited time and materials, develop people and workflows, and remain accountable for the finished result.

An unconventional transition
Learning became a development method.
During a deeply personal period, Christian began teaching himself emerging technologies, generative artificial intelligence, coding, and increasingly technical disciplines. What began as necessity changed the scale of problems he could investigate.
AI accelerated research across unfamiliar fields. Coding turned research into working systems. Digital fabrication connected software to physical production. The result was not a shortcut around craft or experience, but a faster path toward informed, hands-on capability.
