Long before it became decorative, copper was the backbone of electrical systems, thermal management, and mechanical interfaces where conductivity mattered more than convenience. Its combination of electrical performance, thermal transfer, and ductility makes it indispensable in modern electronics, power distribution, and precision fabrication.

It is commonly used for grounding plates, EMI and RF shielding, heat spreaders, bus bars, and custom electrical interfaces. In CNC and prototyping environments, copper is chosen when current flow, heat dissipation, or contact reliability cannot be compromised.

Copper machines differently from aluminum or brass. It rewards sharp tooling, controlled feeds, and deliberate passes. It conducts heat aggressively, work-hardens under poor technique, and offers clear feedback during cutting.
