part recreation service showing a handheld 3D scanner capturing a miniature bench lathe on a workshop workbench. scanning lines map the machine’s surface for reverse engineering, CAD modeling, digital archiving, replacement part design, prototype development, and manufacturing reproduction. Image highlights precision 3D scanning, custom fabrication services, obsolete part recreation, mechanical component replication, and engineering support for makers, restorers, and small-batch production.

Service scheduling required

Sometimes the part exists, but the file doesn’t.

It may be obsolete, damaged, handmade or just unusual enough that no current replacement quite fits. This service helps bridge the gap between the physical object in your hand and the digital information needed to preserve, modify or reproduce it.

Depending on the project, that may begin with 3D scanning and continue into CAD reconstruction, dimensional correction, prototype development, CNC machining, resin printing or casting. You do not need experience with scanning or manufacturing to get started; you only need to tell us what outcome you need.

The displayed price is a refundable build-slot deposit. It is credited in full toward your final project total. Scan-only archival work, production-ready reconstruction and a finished replacement are different scopes, so their deposit levels reflect different expected complexity.

Show us the part and the outcome you need before reserving a slot.

Possible outcomes

  • A digital scan for archival or reference use
  • Common file formats for downstream work
  • A reconstructed or modified CAD model
  • A plan for printing, machining or casting
  • A separately scoped physical reproduction

What to send

  • Clear photographs from multiple angles
  • Approximate dimensions and the part’s function
  • Details about damage, wear or missing features
  • Whether you want to archive, modify or reproduce it
  • Quantity, target date and approximate total-project budget

What happens next

We confirm whether the physical sample is required, the accuracy needed and exactly what files or objects the approved scope will deliver. Scanning alone does not automatically include a production-ready reconstructed model or finished part. Once you approve the written total and schedule, the deposit is credited in full and the scoped work begins.
