Blue Sapphire Ring - Madagascar Cabochon - Sterling Silver Jewelry
In stock: 1-3 business days
A natural material, shaped and set to carry its origin forward.
This ring is built around a hand-cut blue Madagascar sapphire cabochon, carved and polished to preserve the internal character these stones are known for. Madagascar sapphires are valued for their depth and variation, with natural inclusions, shifting color, and subtle clouding visible across the surface.
Under intense light, the stone moves between deep blue and lighter mineral tones, revealing layered structure within the material. Under casual light, it settles into a rich, deep blue presence that holds attention.
Unlike faceted sapphire, this piece does not rely on clarity or brilliance. Polished to 60k grit, the surface enhances the stone without removing its identity. The result is bold, grounded, and unmistakably natural.
The stone is set in a solid sterling silver bezel, formed and finished in-house. The setting is clean but not overly refined, intentionally leaving a trace of the process behind. It holds the stone securely while staying consistent with the Aetherium style, controlled but never sterile.
Each ring is cast, shaped, and finished by hand. Variations in the stone and subtle marks in the metal are part of the final piece, not defects to be removed.
