Most dop kits give you a collection of shapes. This one was built around the profiles that repeatedly earned their place at our bench.

The Aetherium Dop Stick Kit brings together a compact selection of 6 mm polycarbonate dops for epoxy and CA workflows. Two familiar profiles cover common faceting and transfer work, while two Aetherium workhorse designs were selected through repeated use in our testing lab.

Rather than filling the kit with minor variations, each profile has a distinct role.
Small and medium sizes give the cutter practical options for calibrated stones, preforms, transfers, cabochons, and irregular geometries without requiring a large collection of machined metal dops.

Polycarbonate changes the material logic of dopping. Because these tools are designed around adhesive bonding rather than heat-transfer wax, they remain lightweight, easy to modify, and practical to keep in quantity.

The contact surfaces can be trimmed, sanded, drilled, or resurfaced as the stone and workflow require. Most dops can be cleaned and returned to service across multiple stones; when mechanical removal is impractical, the material can be sacrificed without treating the dop like a costly precision component.

Each stick uses a consistent 6 mm shaft for compatible faceting quills, including many VEVOR-style machines and other systems built around the same shaft standard.
