Every cutter knows the mess. Slurry on your hands, spray across the quill, grit building up around the bowl and dripping down your workbench. A typical experience for the Vevor faceting machine.

The Aetherium Lap Splash Kit is designed to control that mess without getting in the way of the work. The lap bowl lid covers the non-working area of the basin, while the removable side baffle adds containment around the working side of the lap. Together, they help keep more slurry and spray inside the bowl while maintaining access to the stone and cutting surface.

The lid drops into place in seconds and features an internal splash lip that helps redirect water and debris back toward the basin. The side baffle replaces the factory orange one, and provides a lip to contain water & debris but also doubles as a nice resting place for your hands.

I really love this upgraded splash guard lid, it keeps the condensed/collected spatter contained within the spatter pan and it sits very nicely in place. Perfect for high flow coolant containment, like when roughing in or operating at high rpms. It feels very solidly made and is strong enough to lightly support your hand when it inevitably gets fatigued after an hour of roughing in, hehe. Great item, awesome shipping, great customer service as always! If you've got a vevor faceting machine just get this, don't even question it.

This was SUCH a needed upgrade, makes a huge difference in user experience quality of life! Wonderful item and awesome shipping and packaging service! Suggestion for future; make a raised lip 1cm in on inside circumference so the spatter drips down inside instead of running outside.
